April Favorites !
I swear you blink and the month's already gone by. How are we already in May?!
I am writing this in a rush and don't know what to say in this intro so hi, hope you're having a good day, let's start!
I've been listenning to this album on a loop all month; it's pretty much the only thing I've listenned to tbh (Except Kacey Musgraves' songs, what a babe). It's really fun and upbeat and nothing short of what you'd expect the music equivalent of Mcfly and Busted's love child to be (Wow that's a long sentence).
One of the main things you should know about me is that I'm terrible at maths. This month, I had to pass the SATs and I was totally not ready for the maths part of it (I've been taking maths in French all my life and am horrible at it, imagine my struggle when I was faced with it in English). So instead of getting a tutor, I typed something like "sat maths help" on Youtube and stumbled upon this channel which-I'm not even kidding- changed my life (or a least bumped my chances of getting a good score). The guy behind it uploads all sorts of videos with tips on either vocab, critical reading or maths and he's just so simple and straight to the point, I think I learnt more watching his videos than during my whole SAT Prep courses.
If you're as hopeless as me, you need to check him out; just type "RadicalPrep" on Youtube or click here.
I finally got round to reading this and I'm so pissed I watched the movie before reading the book because the ending would have fucked me up 10x more if I had read it. Gillian Flynn has such a beautiful pen and I loved her story and her ability to manipulate the reader into taking sides and showing us how naive and gullible we truly are. My mind felt like Play-Doh being modelled the whole time.
Yes, I know, I've mentionned The Office in like, all of my posts but it's for a reason okay? I only have 2 episodes left of the last season ever and it's messing with my emotions because on one side, I want to watch them and see how it ends but on the other, when it ends, it ends and I'm not ready to face that yet (I know I'm acting like a drama queen but that's what happens when you've found the TV show equivalent of, well... you). Also, JAM's been putting me on the edge of my seat all season because I love their relationship and their whole beings and just... ugh. I don't wanna talk about it anymore (Ok yes I'm totally overreacting. BITE ME).
