June Favorites!
Last month, I was stuck in a rut and didn't know what to write about so I decided I'd do something new, hence the monthly favorites. I talked about everything ranging from accessories to books and you seemed to like it so here I am yet again with another set of favorites!
I should probably start off by saying that as a month, June's one of my absolute favorite(Seriously, how many times can I say favorite? 3 so far): Birthdays(Gifts), Summer(End of school), Warm Weather (An excuse to lounge around with AC and lemonade), what's not to love?
I'm one of those people who's cursed with a love for nail polish and ugly fingers: They're small and fat and due to my lack of calcium, always adorned with weak, broken nails (Sexy). But that doesn't stop me from wearing nail polish and more often than not, you'll find me with this particular shade on my nails. It looks kind of reddish in this picture but it's actually a very vibrant and pigmented coral that looks great in summer with a tan (If I could actually get one, instead of just becoming red. Sigh).
This shirt was actually a gift from two of the people that have experienced my love for weekends the most (Let's just say I've had more than one It's-too-early-to-function-why-is-it-not-Saturday-yet conversation with them).
It's a very simple loose tank top to throw on over your swimsuit and pair up with some shorts but knowing me and my love for quirky tee-shirts it was actually a pretty thoughtful gift.
This was a gift as well and I'm glad I got it because otherwise I would've never discovered it. I'm not usually a big body lotion fan and am quite wary of the products inside them but this one smelled way too good to pass up. It's a bit strong at first but slowly fades out and becomes very subtle, making me smell like I took a stroll in a garden. Yum yum yum.
Random faves of the month:
Favorite TV Show: Awkward (I literally watched 3 seasons in a week. I may or may not have a problem (And a serious addiction to Beau Mirchoff's face)).
Favorite movie: It's a tie between The Fault in Our Stars (Check out my review here) and 22 Jump Street.
Favorite song: Let me in by Grouplove (It's on the TFiOS soundtrack and is orsum).
This post was supposed to go up a week ago but my laptop crashed and the draft disappeared so I had to write it again. Sucks.
