July Favorites (Already!?)

It's that time already! Damn, July flew by so fast; all I can remember from this month is my stupid SAT courses (I'm so glad they're over!) and the Imagine Dragons concert which was everything. Let's hope August is more fulfilling, right?
Sunglasses by Jean-Paul Gaultier
These sunglasses were a hell of a find: I was helping my uncle move into his house a year ago and found them in one of his "Stuff to throw" boxes and fell in love with them. They're quite old actually and you can feel that every time you put them on (Seriously, it feels like they'll come undone at any moment) but I wouldn't trade them for anything. I think they're really cool and found them to be quite versatile: You can throw them on with practically any outfit and it'll make it look great.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss in 60. (How cute is my teddy bear?)
Another thing that I've been loving throwing on this month (Smooth transition there), is lipstick. Like nail polish, lipstick is another star-crossed lover of mine: I'm a massive fan of it but have barely any lips to put it on. Sigh.
I love bold colors and statement lips and although this color is more suitable for the colder months, it's the only one I've been wearing in July. I just love that it's dark and matte and relatively easy to apply for someone with no top lip.

I can't take pictures of shoes to save my life. They're (very dirty) white Toms. I have them in black as well but of course, I couldn't find them for the picture.
It's weird that I own these shoes, let alone wear them on a regular basis because-let's be honest- they're really ugly. I would usually never opt for something like that (and I didn't, my mom got them for me) but turns out, they're really comfortable. Like really. They're not stuffy at all and are a good alternative to sandals when you've forgotten (or are too lazy) to paint your toes. And they help a great cause so haters (=Andrea), your argument is invalid.
I was never the kind of girl to divide everything into lists and make study calendars and just generally - be organized but lately I've been really trying to change that and having this notebook has helped me tremendously: I use it to write down potential blog post ideas, stuff that I need to get done and even just doodle things in it when I'm bored. I think it's a great way to keep your brain in check, especially if you're like me and have ideas running wild in your head all the time. And plus, it's really cute.

Random faves time!

Favorite song: Paris-Seychelles by Julien Dore - it's incredible.
Favorite album: X by Ed Sheeran (My friend got to see him in concert and I've probably never been this jealous in my life)
Favorite TV Show: Teen Wolf (This season is absolutely mental-every episode just keeps getting better and better!)
