January Favorites!

You don't even know how relieved I am that January is over; that month has got dread written all over it (Wanna read my last post to know all about it? I won't blame you if you don't).
These were the things that made me not give up on life in January, enjoy!
Scarf:Zara, Jacket: Topshop. (1. I am not a poser, therefore I needed my mug to not feel so stupid, 2. I was wearing pj bottoms #lifeofablogger).
As it's getting colder, I'm starting to realize I've overestimated the power of plaid shirts (Tip: Don't go out in a flannel and converse when it's 19 degrees and raining outside. Just don't).
These two items have been my holy grail as they keep me so warm, they're very nice looking and pretty darn soft (I am guilty of using the scarf as a blanket in class. Oops?) Plus, the blanket scarf is two sided so it basically goes with twice the things it would if it was one sided (Did that make any sense?)

After years of seeing The Office reaction posts everywhere, I decided it was time to see what the fuss was about. Not even kidding I've watched 5 seasons in a month. 5 seasons. It's so addictive and hilarious and cute and sassy and just, ugh. I'm at the point where I'm basically counting the hours until I get to come home and watch it, and this sounds pretty sad but it's what got me through the day most days this month.
(Also it is very important to note that I've discovered my one true bae, John Krasinski, through this show. I can't even begin to describe how much I love him. Ok bye.)

I mentioned a couple of favorites back the book If I Stay and I finally got around to reading the sequel: It's written in the same style as the first, but with a change of narrative which I enjoyed a lot as I've got a deeper look into Adam's POV. I have to admit, it's not as good as the first installement but it's a nice read nontheless and a good closure to this story.

Favorite movie: Gone Girl by David Fincher. I can't believe it took me this long to watch it; this movie is in-sane. I need to get my hands on the novel right now.

Favorite song: White Blank Page by Mumford & Sons (I don't know what to say about this song except that it hits hard).

Hope you liked the first favorites of the year and tell me what your favorite things were this month!
