Winter Reading List

As you will have noticed from the last couple of posts, January has been a hectic month where every spare minute was cherished by watching The Office. So I've built quite the collection of books to read and I thought I'd do another one of those Reading List posts (but... better?).
I'm really into autobiographies and Mindy Kaling at the moment so I thought I'd give this book a go: I've heard so many great reviews that praise Mindy for being so truthful and sharing her struggles in such a light and funny way in this book and really, that's all I'm looking for. I've heard a snippet of the book on audible and it's truly fascinating how funny she is; I love that and can't wait to start this book. Expect a review as soon as I'm done with it!

(OK so maybe all you The Office lovers will sense a theme here. It's not like I investigated every actor's work after watching the first episode. Nope. Absolutely not.)
Although this is not an autobiography, this book is a lot like Mindy's in the way that it's so light and funny and just an easy read to get through with some long stories and some other shorter ones. I actually stumbled on this whilst watching an old interview of B.J on The Ellen Show where she read an extract, which goes "If you love something, let it go. If you don't love something, definitely let it go. Basically, just drop everything. Who cares?"
I don't know about you but that is definitely my type of humour and I laughed a lot at that so again, can't wait to read it!

On the other end of the spectrum, this is a pretty morbid book in which a girl lists the thirteen reasons that led to her suicide. I don't much else about it but I'm sure it'll be a good book for when I'm sad and humour doesn't cut it.

I've talked about this book in my January Favorites, telling you how much I loved the movie and how excited I am to read the book. To be honest the only reason I haven't bought this yet is because bookstores only have it in those pocket-style formats which I hate. Admittedly, it's a change from the usual books I read but it's still right up my alley.

This list is growing by the minute (I might have to add Fifty Shades of Grey to it if I like the movie), I'm just praying for the holidays to come faster so I can lock myself in my room and get through all of them in 2 days. What can I say, I'm a fast reader.
What book do you want to read next?
