Yummy Ice Cream & Makeshift Art | Marseille 2015
As
some of you already know, I was in the south of France from the 6th to
the 10th of March for an AV/Arts project with a school there. I thought it'd be cool to post some of the pictures we took on here, like a little diary and stuff. Plus, I'm doing a post for each day of the trip so you can look forward to that, yey!
As soon as we checked in, we were given free time to explore the area we would be staying in and get some lunch.
We had lunch and immediately went to get ice creams 'cause we're just hungry like that.. Of course a photoshoot to document the moment was needed, and so it goes.
We then went to an exhibition center that didn't have an actual exhibition yet, so instead we got handy with some props, as seen below...
I was that annoying person that made no effort to arrange the thing whatsoever but instead stood on the sideline saying things like "Put a green one now" or "Turn this one around, it looks wonky". Hehe.
We went back to the hotel where we had one hilarious dinner: We were sat with our teacher and I don't remember what she said but we found it extremely funny and just went into fits of hysteric laughter everytime she opened her mouth, it wouldn't end! I wish I had pictures to document the moment because I'm sure we looked like maniacs...
And that's the end of Day 1! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, and check back tomorrow for more artsy fartsy pictures (courtesy of Karim, Michele, Nour and Andrea).
This is the Vieux Port, which just translates to Old Port. It's got this feel to it; it's just impossible for you to be mad there!
I could look at this all day, it's so pretty!
This is a reflective mirror that spans on a large portion of the port. Imagine us, equipped with our cameras, lookings around to find our reflections and take selfies. Funny sight I bet.
I don't think I've ever seen Michele (who you can check out here) as content..

I'm not really sure how this can qualify as art but hey, we had fun doing it!
