Do You

I know, from experience, that being you can be the hardest thing you have to do. I know self confidence doesn't come easily, that anxiety sucks and that sometimes you just wish you were someone else (As the magnificent Kurt Cobain once said "Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are". Just saying).

But you're still stuck with you, aren't you? And it's not so bad if you think about it. You just have to change your outlook on life. You have to do the things you love, to find happiness in the small things you do every day that make you who you are: Whether it be talking to your mum or going to school (Personally, happiness is non-existent to me at 7AM but ya know, I'm working on it). But most importantly, you have to not care.
I recently had some sort of epiphany, I realized that this it, this is all we're gonna have (I know, I'm late to the game. Sorry if I'm being super dramatic). But seriously, as much as I'd like to be a cat, I'm not, I only have one life and I'm damn-well living it the way I wanna live it. So my (colorful) advice to you: Before leaving your house, leave your last fuck there. You won't be needing it. Because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind (Jesus I'm deep today).

Find your balance, find serenity and peace in your life and in yourself. If you're a geek, be a proud geek. If you wanna dress completely crazily, then do it with your head held high. And if people ever make fun of you for who you are, screw them (Not in the literal sense). Just always remember to "do" you, whether it be when you're dressing up, when you're talking to someone or when you're just out and about. No one can be you better than yourself, and that's an awesome person to be (Unless you're an asshole, then please reevaluate your life).

P.S: This is sort of, kind of like a "sequel" to my Being True To Yourself post and it probably won't be the only one because this is a very important topic to me and I have a whole lot to say about it.
