Filming and Acting

As I have written in my About Me post, I would like to be a movie director when I grow up so I thought it was only appropriate to take an AV class to show me the ropes and all. One of our assignments at the moment is to film a short movie of approximately 2 to 4 minutes on anything we'd like. Our movie is called Money Talks and is basically about all of the facets of a single coin, whether it be used for a financial purpose, a decision making one or just entertainment-wise.
This is our statement of intent (and a bit of Scene 1). Directors write them describing the project they wish to create and their intentions and send them to producers who subsequently decide whether or not to produce it. It's basically your first and only impression and so it needs to be captivating and interesting enough to catch the producers' attention.
The whole process took us a lot of time: Working with friends is tricky because you can't be around each other for more than 10 minutes without goofing off or succumbing to laziness and procrastination. We still have about 2 scenes to shoot and then have to edit the whole thing which takes a lot of time, something we don't have a whole lot of.
This is a bit of our technical breakdown. You basically cut through the shots, precising how it's gonna be shot and from what angle. It's an essential part of filming. We didn't really follow it but oh well.
I also had to act in the movie (Act is an overstatement, I didn't even need to speak but still). That was proven difficult due to my awkward nature but I got over it and was pretty good-if I do say so myself (Admittedly, everyone would have been good in my role but I still hold hope I have a future for it).

P.S: I realized, to my absolute surprise and delight, that not all of my readers are from Lebanon which is so awesome. I'm sorry if you don't understand the pictures but I tried to explain their purpose as best as I could.
P.P.S: If you'd like, I may post the film here when it's done.
